Sean Corcoran, Curator of Prints and Photographs for the Museum, initiated the acquisition of this print for the museum's permanent collection following its "Rising Waters" exhibition in the Museum's 1st anniversary of Hurricane Sandy, an exhibition that ran Oct 28, 2013 through March 2, 2014.
