Two images were accepted in the "Wildlife" division into the 2014 San Joaquin Valley International Exhibition for photography. They were "Reindeer in Svalbard" which was photographed in the archipelago of Svalbard; and "Juvenile Orangutan", which was photographed in the Tanjung Puting National Park in Borneo. The competition awarded an Honorable Mention to the image, "Reindeer in Svalbard." The competition is sponsored by the San Joaquin Valley Camera Club Council (SJVCCC) and a catalog of the juried and winning images is available at their Web site at
www.2014sjvccc.org . The competition is produced under the jurisdiction of the Photographic Society of America (PSA). In the "Wildlife" division, 676 images were submitted, of which 228 images were accepted, with a select group of those receiving a medal and honorable mention.
